anytime i highlight , bleech my hair it gets frizzy , course , dry , fried , breaks , no matter how much i deep conditon it or how many hot oil treatments i use , I see women that have healthy , soft bleeched hair , what are they doing different

I do all sort of stuff to my hair and its always soft. I use Suave products. they are inexpensive and they work. good luck

maybe they are using a bleech that is fast.if you don't leave it on for too long maybe it doesn't harm alot.but i'm not sure.

Same thing happens to me- I cut my hair short to cut off the death- it actually looks much better/healthier. I was doing my own hair.

I think it has to be done by a professional- I got what I paid for-a cheap job.

I have coarse dry curly hair AND I bleach it regularly (once a month) I use conditioner in the shower every day, then I use leave in conditioner when I style it. AND once a week I use a deep conditioner where I put it in my hair, put a plastic bag on my hair and then sit in the tub for 20-30 minutes. Do not use shampoo every day. Once or twice a week tops. Finally, styling products can make a difference. Experiment with different styling products.

they get special conditioning treatments done on their hair. if you go to a beauty school they can do them there for really cheap and if you a bit scared about going there they cannot mess it up! i saw a person put pantene-pantene is a horrible idea....you should see the people i do that use that stuff, all it takes it me taking my really good flat ironand a pass on that hair to get them to stop using that stuff. it coats your hair thats why it seems to look and feel better....yuck! its making me gag just thinking about it!

After coloring use a good conditioner and allow it

to sit for at least 5 minutes.

Skip the washing, drying and styling products 1 day

of every week...give it a rest.

Before you blowdry, put some mousse on the ends,

and as you dry, squirt your brush with a dab of sheen

shine or gloss (or a dab of olive oil) and thoroughly

dry each section, when the section is dry, run the brush

over the top. If you still have frizzies put a dab of sheen

on your palms, rub them together and flatten flyaways

then brush once more down...

well alto matters on the bleach you are using, certain bleaches make you hair alot more dry, certain bleaches are way better for you hair, don't dry out the hair as much.Also matters how high of a developer you are using, using a 40 with say "basic white" your hair is going to be a mess, 30 developer sometimes works just as well as 40.

Get some Pureology sham and cond best on the market.
