What can I do/use to make my hair stop smelling so bad?

My hair is color-treated and I usually use Biolage for color-treated hair but by the end of the day my hair smells bad. Kinda like sweat. I used to wash my hair every other day but now I'm washing it daily to try to get rid of the smell. My hair is healthy and shiny, just smelly. I just switched my shampoo/conditioner to Pantene for red heads. I haven't noticed any changes (it's been a week). Any real suggestions would be greatly appreciated...I don't mind spending the money to get rid of the smell.

Your chemistry is to blame..biolage is great and the smell is even better but it might be your diet..it seems like your sweat glands are over active and that is totally normal..nothing you can really do for that..

PS. Never use Patene it's way too waxy..and ruins your hair..too heavy and just coats rather than cleans..

stop using that shampoo it could be reacting t the natural oils in ur hair switch to a shampoo that gets deep into the scalp and that does not have anything to do with color...use VO5...or what i use...suave..or head and shoulders

If you live in the UK then use Lee Staffords new Hair products as they smell wonderfull and the scent stays in your hair all day.

i would just use a refresher spray they have for hair. there is quite a few of them. but not every company makes them.

I've heard that rubbing oliveoil on your hair before you go to sleep makes your haikr thicker, and it MIGHT!!! get rid of the smell but please only use this option if you are desperate!!!!

Usually bad hair smells come from bacteria lurking on your scalp. Wash your hair frequently, but with a clarifying shampoo, usually the ones that are "clear" looking and you can see right through them. These are also mild, so they wont have any harsh chemicals that may ruin your hair color. When you wash, turn your hair over, and really massage the product into your scalp. Rinse it out and wash it again.

Also, try a scented hair spray - (not perfume! )If you cant find one, try a mild scented leave in conditioner.
