try using the straightening gels like treseme straightening gel which also protects ur hair against heat damage. and use shampoos that dont have alcohol in them so ur hair doesnt dry out too much.

make sure you have a ceramic straightener. andi's is a good one, and it's real cheap, at walmart. and you could get some gel to protect your hair from the heat too.

i know this sounds like it wont work, but use that new Dove intensive care in the blue bottle. i went and had my hair done and the woman fried my hair. that was back in May. Dove was the best thing i used. but if its too damaged you may just have to get it trimmed.
