Try this product. It made my hair grow, glow and great.

FORMULA 101A. I used that when I started losing too much hair, and it started growing back in 3 days! I only used it for a month. It's a chinese product made mostly for balding men, but on men it takes 6 months to notice new growth, although hairloss will stop right away too. It doesn't smell too great, so use it at night before sleeping instead of before going out.

Tapping your head all over with your fingers for about 5 minutes a day, then brushing thoroughly in every direction will also give you some good results. I guess that's because it helps improve circulation.

VITAMINS. You can take a multi-vitamin with folic acid everyday. It really helps.

If you're not sure you're losing too much hair, (It can look like too much when you have long hair), start counting how many come out when you brush. If it's around a hundred, that's supposed to be normal.

I think I'm loosing my hair, what is a way to prevent this?

you should switch your shampoo, conditioner, and your hair brush.

really search the kind of shampoo and conditioner you want though- i also experienced hair loss and i went and i probably read the back of every shampoo and conditioner in the store until i found one that was suitable for everyone of my needs.

i also decided to switch my hairbursh, i'm not sure if that had anything to do with my hair becoming healthier and not loosing it anymore, but getting a new hair brush is always nice, anyways.

I think I'm loosing my hair, what is a way to prevent this?

don't wash your hair that often.wash it like every other day.

Do you realy need to take vitamins to have healthy hair?

If you want to have nice hair use John Frieda's hair serum. It will make your hair silky and shinny.

Do you realy need to take vitamins to have healthy hair?

you need to get some leave in conditioner treatment's and do it very often!

Do you realy need to take vitamins to have healthy hair?

hell no

Do you realy need to take vitamins to have healthy hair?

no need. jus have balanced diet.

Do you realy need to take vitamins to have healthy hair?

The trick to healthy hair isn't to just take care of what you've got. You must take care of it from the roots. Yes, take vitamins. Hair will grow in more healthy. I suggest prenatal vitamins - good for nails too.

Frizzy hair help?

I have curly/wavy hair, and when it gets put up it is shiny and nice, except the ponytail takes longer, and doesn't get soft and shiny for a few hours after I shower it's weird. Basically my problem is that I can wear my hair down, and curly because it indefinitely gets frizzy! I bought fekkai curl cream which everyone raves about for frizzy curls but it didn't help me. My hair is healthy because it's soft and shiny when it's up and when I straighten it (wet 2 dry straightener), and I don't have split ends. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips for me. (I don't blowdry, ever-it makes it 100% worse) PLEASE HELP.

Frizzy hair help?

The first thing to do is if you are shampooing, STOP! Shampoos have harsh detergants that damage your hair. Instead use a good conditioner to cleanse your scalp and hair. I recommend Proclaim with Olive Oil. If you must Shampoo, then coat your hair with conditioner first. I did this, and after 2 weeks, my hair looked a million times better, and the frizz was reduced drastically. Then, in the morning, you want to spritz or wet your hair. Then use a gel that contains PVP to scruch your curls. Then, wait a few minutes (you could do your make up or brush your teeth in this time) and then apply more gel to the frizzy spots. Then, through out the day (I do this at my lunch hour) use spray leave in conditioner. I use Catwalk, and it works well and smells nice.

If you are going to do any of that, then cut the shampoo. It won't work overnight, but in 2 weeks, you will be so glad you did.

Frizzy hair help?

Okay so you have to buy a serum which is like an anti frizz product and you put it on right after u take a shower along with a little gel. Don't do too much basically mix the serum and gel together. i RECOMMEND PHYTO because it is used in many salons. You want to stay away from drug store hair products. After u put the serum and gel in let it dry naturally.

Frizzy hair help?

this happens to me. You have to blow dry the hell out of it, even after it's dry. you must you leave in conditioners, and only salon brands. Try a serum.. like Kenra

Frizzy hair help?

um first u should try noodle head cause my lil sister has the same promblem and we bought noodle head and it helps her hair alot u can get noodle head at sally's

Frizzy hair help?

have you ever thought using a hotcomb and straightening your hair and probably relaxing or shampooing it. and the blow dry it! comb it 50 or 100 times. and then if your hair gets frizzy when you get out of the shower try getting a rubberband and putting it in a ponytail.

Frizzy hair help?

It has been my experience that frizzy hair lacks moisture. Sounds crazy but it's true. Moisture and protein, keratin. Make an appointment with a professional stylist at a salon that uses Framesi Products. They will analyze your hair and tell you exactly which products you need and why. Framesi does not permit salons to sell their products until they have completed classes and know what they are talking about. These are the only products I use and recommend in my salon. I am a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner for over 15 years. If you cannot go to a salon, perhaps the web site below will be of some help.

Frizzy hair help?

i got the same issue. i use SUNSILK, its a green bottle. right after i take a shower i towel blot my hair, leave it a little damp and add sunsilk at the roots and a tiny bit trew all my hair, then i add a little hair spray or gel and my hair is bangin! =0)

What's the best way to repair my hair?

My hair used to be silky and fine but now it's wirey and completely unmanageable! I haven't colored it in a long time and I rarely use product on my hair so I know it's not over-processed. During my pregnancy and while breastfeeding I lost a lot of hair and now that it has grown back each strand is thick and wirey. If I run my fingers along one single strand it's not smooth at all. I get my hair trimed hoping that getting rid of any split ends will help but the softness lasts only until I wash my hair again. I'm taking vitamins but that doesn't seem to be helping either.

Is there anything I can do to get my hair healthy and manageable again?

What's the best way to repair my hair?

they have this new shampoo and conditioner from pantene.

its called pantene restoratives and i helps damaged hair from pregnancy and hair that's over-processed. it also helps surface damage. it only takes a month for two years worth of damage to be silky and smooth again. hope i helped =]

What's the best way to repair my hair?

At drugstores like walgreens or even target i think, they have items like "repair" and there is pantene pro-v's restoratives shampoo/conditioner. Or hot oil treatments are great. And if you don't want to get it done at the salon, they sell little tubes of oil.

What's the best way to repair my hair?

Try some deep moisturizing shampoo and conditioner from a salon. A lot of highly scented shampoo's and conditioners have a lot of alcohol in them, this alcohol dries your hair out like crazy! You could also try a hot oil treatment. Your hair has lost it's moisture. You just need to keep taking vitamins (esspecially Vitamin E, helps your hair the most) and keep taking it step by step. It will take a while for your hair to get back to the way it was. Good Luck!!

What's the best way to repair my hair?

have your hair trimed, maybe short layers.

What's the best way to repair my hair?

First you need to get your ends trimmed and then get a deep conditioning treatment and that should help plus your hair probably needs to be trained all over again. i know of a few conditioners but you have to get them from a salon and not a beauty supply, plus you can try some of the products that have teatree or shea butter and u can find those at any beauty supply.

What's the best way to repair my hair?

same as mine, and i rotate shampoo and conditioner every time i wash, i buy cheaper brands and wash with one and condition with another brand..i usually have about 5 shampoos and 5 conditioners and just pick one and hope for the best, i try to wash my hair every second day..i know for sure it is the water where i live that is a big part of the problem, lot of minerals and hard water here where i live, i used to live in a place that had softer water and i did not have as many problems then. hope it all works out for you too

I started losing my hair (pink scalp showing through graying hair), then I discovered I had low thyroid. My doctor did the tests and found I also have diabetes and some heart problems. They go together, since the thyroid hormone affects the entire system.

How do I keep my hair healthy,Im having falling hair...?

How do I keep my hair healthy,Im having falling hair...?

Alberto Balsam. Its brilliant, and its probably the cheepest shampoo on the market. You can get in in supermarkets, chemists etc. But its brilliant, and it was voted top shampoo by cosmopolitan magazine. I swear buy it, and i would never go back to using some of the more pricy stuff such as panten, tresame, or even toni and guy. I also know of "sea kelp" tablets that you can get in health food shops such as holland and barret. And they make you hair grow quickly (you may no want this), but it also grows thicker and stronger. My friend used them, and her hair is beautiful now. The only thing is, it makes other body hair, such as legs and armpits grow much quicker, so you may need to shave more regular. But honestly, alberto balsam shampoo and conditioner, in stawberry and cream flavour and i doubt you will ever go back. It cost about 98p per bottle! Good luck! I hope you have lovely hair!

Massage aloe Vera gel over the scalp, leave it for about one hour. After this rinse the hair with warm water. It gives excellent results for hair loss if one uses this massage at least 3-4 times a week. Check out

Give me home remedies for glowing skin and healthy hair?

Have at least least 8 hours of sleep at night and drink lots of fluids (like fruit juices and water). Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Sometimes it's the lifestyle that contributes a lot.

Give me home remedies for glowing skin and healthy hair?

mayo for your hair makes it silky soft but dont use too much of it. It will make it oily if u do or beer too is good to make shiny healthy hair. I am not sure what homemade things u can use on your skin.

Give me home remedies for glowing skin and healthy hair?

Dove Cream Bar soap is really good if you want really smooth skin. Just wash your face with warm water and Dove Cream Bar in the morning and/or night. Fish oil and other Omega3 supplements are really good for shiny, silky hair. Most home remedies are pretty gross from what I've read. I'd rather eat more fish than stick honey or orange juice or something in my hair. =P

Hair dye???

I recently dyed my hair brown and i hated it so i dyed it with blonde BLEACH highlights yesterday. My hair does not feel dry but im worryed that i have made it really unhealthy? Is there any shampoos or conditionsers i can use or any hair products that will help my hair be more healthy?

Thank you!

Hair dye???

just use an intensive conditioner once a week (the pantenne is a good one).

and lay off the bleach in future your hair will be fine, have it trimmed every 6 weeks to get rid of the dry ends as this causes further damage up the hair if this is not done.

try not to worry too much chick x

Hair dye???

If it wasn't too damaged to begin with I'm sure it will be fine but I'd recommend Redken anti-snap leave in treatment, it makes your hair feel soooo healthy!

Hair dye???

yeah! there are tons! when i dye mine i use panteene its usually right there with the other shampoos and stuff look for color revival or others have somewhat different names ,but they all have them.

Hair dye???

If your hair does not feel dry, you can probably maintain this condition by using a conditioner every time you shampoo and doing an intensive conditioning treatment once a week. This is what everyone else will tell you, and it works, but here is my professional advice (if you care to read on)...

[I have had my hair bleached platinum blonde from a natural dark brown for years, and I have always managed to keep it in superb condition. All my clients who follow my maintenance regiment are in great shape as well.]

I educate my clients on the ingredients in shampoo and conditioner, and not simply tell them what to buy. When your hair is bleached, you have to remember that the hair is not hair anymore. It is a fragile strand of "ex-hair" that requires products to maintain shine and integrity.

To mimick the integrity of real hair, which is all you can do for bleached hair, you need to use products with a glyercine compound (propylene glycol, for example). This is a cheap ingredient they put in the most expensive shampoos to do the trick. Of course, all the herbal extracts and oil help too, but they are only icing on the cake.

To restore shine, you need a silicone compound (dimethicone, for example). This is what a lot of anti-frizz products contain.

DO NOT use any denat. alcohol or sodium chloride (salt) in your hair. These ingredients will dry out the hair more.

Another drying agent that people don't talk about much is the sodium lauryl sulfate in shampoos. When you wash your hair everyday, or every other day for some, this small amount of damage can add up to a lot of damage over time. My advice is to use an organic shampoo that does not contain any sodium lauryl sulfate. You can find relatively inexpensive ones in health food stores. Mix this with a finishing cream that has propylene glycol in it. This will be your new shampoo. When you are washing your hair, either do it every other day to protect it, or only wash your scalp. The ends will wash themselves as you are rinsing the shampoo out. This is much gentler for the bleached hair.

As for the conditioner... this is not as important as the shampoo. Most people do not tell you this, but it makes sense when you think of shampoo as a detergent and conditioner as a wax/polish. Would you rather damage your hair first with a harsh detergent and then try to compensate the problem with a good polish? Or would you start out by minimizing the damage with a good detergent? That said, you can find virtually any conditioner and mix that with an anti-frizz product (with silicone compounds), and you will have a decent conditioner.

This combination should do the basic trick. If you need to tame the hair some more, you can always use a leave-in conditioner and an anti-frizz product.

Lastly, do not brush your hair when it is wet. Hair is more fragile when it is wet. If you use the shampoo and conditioner recommended, you wouldn't need to comb or brush your hair until it is dry, and the hair will not tangle. Use a wide-tooth comb if possible.

If all of this sounds like too much work (I realize it's different when I am sitting a client down and walking her through this), I would recommend going to a salon and buying professional products. You will have to spend a little money, but these products are more reliable, and they often last longer. The professional hairdressers at a salon will also help you select what is best for you by examining your hair and asking you what kind of results you'd like to get.

Hope this helps!

Hair dye???

use a deep conditioning hair mask once a week

What should I do to my damaged hair?! =(?

I have medium length hair, very thick and wavy. Not a pretty "supermodel wavy" but like, its all poofy, and gross looking. I straighten it all the time. I have bad split ends, and I am trying to grow my hair out, so I cant cut the slpit ends off or it will stay short. People tell me to stop straightening it, but I can't or else, I will look horrible. Its parted on the right and I have bangs a little past my eyes. I have an oval shaped face. I want a new hairstyle that would look good on me, but also be healthy to my hair. Help!

What should I do to my damaged hair?! =(?

Okay chicky, if you have a salon or an Ulta in your area go in and head straight for Redken. They have a line in dark blue bottles for totally overhauled damaged hair, buy the shampoo, conditioner and if they sell the small packets of treatments buy a few of those too, they only run a buck or two. Also, you may want to buy some Anti-Frizz and/ or Soft treatments. This will help those ends and the over all condition of your hair.

Also get a good serum to use, Paul Mitchell, Redken, John Freida, Garnier, nowadays everyone makes a serum, put that on when your hair is damp and it will act as a shine AND a thermal protectant.

If you find yourself in an Ulta store, ask for the Chi products. Chi is a company that makes flat irons but they've now come out with great thermal protectants and repair treatments for dry damaged hair.

And for a style, if you cut in more layers and get some texture added you can get rid of a ton of that bad damaged hair without loseing any length.

What should I do to my damaged hair?! =(?

I have the same EXACT hair and problem! I don't know what to do. but I use this stuff that makes it SUper Soft- Loreal Naturals heat protecting hair cream from Sally Beauty Supply. I don't think there is any cure for damaged hair. We just have to keep putting the creams on it i guess.

What should I do to my damaged hair?! =(?

You should go to a stylist. An Aveda salon is a great place to go. I love Aveda products. They're organic. You probably need lots of moisture in your hair. You can try aveda.com and see if there is a salon near you. Hope your hair gets picture perfect! :] :] :] :] :]

What should I do to my damaged hair?! =(?

you shave it off lol

jk thanks fer the 2 points

What should I do to my damaged hair?! =(?

i have your same problem but i have combination hair like its oily at the roots and really frazzeled at the bottom and theres aussie shampoo for it and that helps frazzeled ends also i have this bedhead stuff called mega vitamen and its a deep conditioner and and you keep it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse it so i would say get heat protection spray and walk down the haircare aisle at walmart and youll see what im talking about good luck! and about the hairstyle i have bangs and i would NEVER get rid of them so dont worry about a cut if you like yours now

What should I do to my damaged hair?! =(?

u need a relaxer aka perm...they go 4 about 5-20$ a box...follow the directions on the box...the formulas break down the dead skin on ur scalp, get rid of split ends, and make ur hair look shiny and straight...

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

ok, i used to have straight healthy normal looking hair and then puberty hit and my hair is just thick, coarse, dry, and frizzy. i tried conditioners from nioxin, biolage, and redken all soft, but they only worked for the first couple times i used them. i don't want to relax my hair again and i do flat iron ceramically but i used a leave in conditioner which stopped working too, i just don't want it to be so dead looking. what would be the best way to moisturize it and keep the moisture in?

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

Okay, this is going to sound so weird, but it works so well. Use Mayo on your hair once a month and tottally cover your hair in it. Wait like 30 min to an hour and wash it off and don't shampoo. the next day when it's dry, it will feel soooo soft and managable and it also gets rid of split ends and dandruff. I don't know why it works but it just does.

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

certain kinds of moose can hold your hair and moisturise it.

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

10-40

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

A favorite home remedy of many people is to put mayonnaise in your hair, massage it through then wrap your head in a plastic bag.

I can't stand mayo to EAT it much less put it in my hair, but I've had good success with Tresemme conditioner and a plastic bag wrap. It worked really well for me once when I fried my hair a little with color.

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

back to basics brand sunflower seed formula and tangerine formula shampoos and conditioners.

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

Sleep in a cap with olive oil or mayonnaise. Just be sure bed partner has eaten before going to bed

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

i have the same kind of hair and know for a fact that flat ironing makes your hair drier and frizzier, so you're not helping your hair at all, at least if you constantly iron. if you only iron everyonce in a while, your hair won't be too bad, and it wil actually start to straighten out. wash your hair every other day, but condition daily. i use alba deep conditioner, it works great and leaves your scalp feeling fantastic. for control, use hairspray. i spreay it on, brush my hair real quick, and repeat a few times. it gives you great hold and doesn't look like you've laminated your hair. there's nothing wrong with thick hair, it's better to have thick hair than hair so thin it looks like you might bald.

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

have you tried aussie three minute miracle it really works

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

I have the same problem and I have used every hair product that claims the help dry frizzy hair. Lately I have been using Dove shampoo and conditioner, their mouse, and their deep conditioner and it has really helped my hair. I also use a leave in conditioner by Therma silk and wash my hair every other day. If you have to wash your hair everyday then let it dry naturally and also try to flat iron your hair as least as possible.

For thick, coarse, dry hair, what's the best to fully moisturize it and keep it tame?

Try a reconditioner every other week or so. Do not use reconditioners everytime you condition, that's not recommended cuz they open the pores of the hair and can cause breakdown from over use. I use Goldwell. If you were purchasing Redken (which I love the "All Soft" line) at a salon, they may have Goldwell there. When conditioning though, leave on for as long as you can...not 5 - 15 minutes like suggested...different hair types will require different times. Wash and condition once per week...this has help me a lot; it helps with breakage for sure!! Hope this helps!

What can I do to prevent my thinning hair?

I'm 17 and have thinning hair, but, according to what I've been researching lately, this could be caused by many things but really the only things that seem to fit best to my history are: Pulling my hair up tight for years, genetics, poor nutrition, or perming and coloring. Other than that I use mousse everyday and most of the time a hot iron and blow dryer. I also shampoo my hair every day because it gets oily fast and tends to part but I don't use conditioner. Then I take Biotin and Grapefruit Seed Extract to help promote healthy skin and hair. Could I be doing something wrong? Do I need to eliminate some things, such as the way I style my hair or using vitamins? Or do I need to just be patient and wait for it to grow back? It's been like this for over a year now. Please anyone who can help I would gladly appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

What can I do to prevent my thinning hair?

First heredity have a lot to do with it. BUt from teh amount of stuff you do to your hair, you may be causing the thinning. Using hot irona and blow dryers every day can seriously break your hair, do you protect it with the proper creams before using hot stuff? Pulling it up all the time is bad, but chemically treating it all the time is bad too. If you chemically treat your hair you have to maintain it and use the proper products to keep your hair healthy. Speak to your hair stylist, maybe they can suggest treatments that can make your hair stronger and better ways to maintain it.

What can I do to prevent my thinning hair?

My best friend was philipino in elementry. She and other asian girls always had the nicest hair. I always thought it was because, asians, and my friend ate rice with everything. ??? It's worth a shot. At GNC they have Hair Skin and Nails. Also Prenatal vitamins aside from what you take now.

Also maybe you should pay attention to what your eating, and what your lacking with food. I think poor nutrition can really do damage, also some medications can too.

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

I was wondering if it is healthy for your hair to be dyed with food coloring. I tried it before, but it just washed out so i guess it is temporary. I was also wondering if there was another way to make it last longer in your hair.

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

It can be a bit drying. Temp dyes like Manic Panic are better for your hair. I definatley wouldn't use food dyes for anything other than small streaks. But I used to get beautiful colors from hot water and kool aid. Use lots of leave in conditioner.

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

u can, but its not gonna last u long, plus its not gonna b tht visible

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

Not really

its just like koolaid

its made 2 be eaten not used in peoples hair.

dont b cheap and use the stuff made 4 hair

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

i've heard kool-aid works better

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

I've never actually heard of anyone dying their hair with food coloring. But if you want that color to stay you should use vinegar with it so it'll stay just like with the easter eggs. I would recommend you use Koolaid instead. It's a tiring process but Koolaid is known to work and actually stay for a while. With the koolaid you just need to add conditioner to it but make sure the koolaid is the unsweetened kind. Otherwise you'll end up regretting it.

What can I do to make my hair healthier? I think its Kinda dry...?

How Do I Get My Hair Back To Being Healthy?

I straightened my hair all last year about everyother day.

How Do I Get My Hair Back To Being Healthy?

Try using Matrix products or Boracato products. Boracato fixes even the most damaged hair, especially their Cloud 9 line. It fixed my giant frizzy hair within one use.

How Do I Get My Hair Back To Being Healthy?

I would give it a healthy trim and invest in a really good shampoo and conditioner for damaged hair- such as Dumb Blonde shampoo and conditioner by TIGI ( it is not just for blondes) and leave the conditioner on for 3-5 mins everytime you shower. Also invest in a protein reconstructor such as K-Pac by Joico to use once a week. Put the K Pac on after shampooing and leave it on for 10 mins before rinsing, and your hair will be looking great again!! also if you are still flat ironing your hair, make sure you are using a heat protector, CHI makes some great ones!

Is it bad to use damage hair products when your hair is healthy?

My cousins hair is really healthy. She has never blow dried her hair and maybe has straighten it three to four times in her life. But she is obsess about her hair. Shes constantly saying that her hair is damage and that she has a lot of split ends when really she probably has like one or two split ends in her hair that you cant even see. Shes always wanting to cut her hair short because she says her hair has split ends. And for once in her life i would like to see her beautiful curly hair long. Unless someone is inspecting her hair you can see them. your lucky if you find four split ends. So she uses products for damage hair my only question is if that is bad for her to use that when her hair is super healthy?

Is it bad to use damage hair products when your hair is healthy?

I hate to say it but, hair damage products are the same as any other kind of product. The honest truth is it's her diet that makes her hair that way. The shampoo get's washed off each time she washes her hair it's only temporary......Honestly the woman could use horse shampoo and it wouldn't make a difference. But about the split ends tell her she's just spazzing over nothing.

Hair donation?

My sister is trying to find some place where she can donate her hair. Her hair is about 2 feet long and it has never been cut, her hair is healthy and it has a nice color. Her hair color is a mix of brown with red it is very beatiful.

Please let me know where she can donate it, preferable to kids with cancer.

Thank you.

Hair donation?

All u got to do is when u go to the hair place ask if they can send thy hair to a kids with cancer place.

Hope i help! :-)

Hair donation?

my daughter just donated her hair to "Locks for love" last week. Ask one of your local hairstylists they will know how to donate it. God bless her.

Hair donation?

Check with any local hair salon. Most of them collect hair for locks of love program. My youngest daughter is growing her hair out for the second time so she can donate.

I know her hair stylist cut and styled her hair for free the time she did. Not sure if all do though.

It's a great cause.

Hair donation?

Locks of Love, if you go to the web site like the others have given you, you can find out where she can get her hair cut for free. My daughter is doing this now and has been growing her hair out for the last two years.

That is so cool that she wants to do this.

Hair donation?

Locks of love does not make wigs for cancer patients. They make wigs for people with a congential immune disorder that destroys the person's natural hair.

Wigs 4 kids gives wigs to juvinile cancer patients. Be sure to follow their instructions so the hair will be usuable.

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

I have heard that pantene is not good for hair. What do you think?Do you have any experience with this shampoo? What about the Pantene conditioners?Does pantene makes hair grow healthy and stronger?

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

try palmolive.

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

not mine

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

I am sure it feels thicker and stronger, but it made my hair very 'moisturized' and limp...and that was just the shampoo. I didn't like it.

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

ive heard that it coats the hair with a thin plastic substance! but dont know wethere to belive that or not!

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

i think thats not a bad choise but in my mine "head and shoulder" is a another good ones.. or you can try "rejoice"

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

pantene works great with my hair...it made my hair reall smooth n soft.....i guess u'll get best result if u can select which one is proper for ur hair type

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

I have tried just about every shampoo I can find to see if it is the best or works. I didn't care for pantene, but I highly reccomend AUSSIE shampoos and conditioners. They have several types out for different types of hair. You can go to AUSSIE.COM and take a little questionair and it will kick back exactly which ones are best for you. My hair is healthier since I started using it about a year ago . Hope this helps

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

ya its good egg painteen is the best mean yellow , n its growth fast n also make the hair silky

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

Pantene is a godd shampoo to buy over the counter at your local drugstore... but that doesn't mean that it is what is best for you. Pantene is known for giving the hair lots of shine, volume, and "strenth". While it will appear to have done that -- it's just an illussion. Pantene gets its' name from the key ingredient, which is "panthenol" or more commonly known as "wax". (Most shampoos have this ingredient) It will leave a light layer of wax on your hairshaft which over the course of time will slowly build up leaving the hair shiny and feeling thicker. You will be tricked into thinking that your hair must also be healthier because of this... but don't be fooled. This layer of wax is choking the hairshaft and will eventually cause the follicle to be clogged and the strand will fall out and until you unclog the follicle -- no new hair will take its place.

Your best advice if you choose to purchase Pantene is to switch it up with a good "clarifying" shampoo every few days. Beyond that -- spend the money at your local mall salon to get the good stuff. The cost comes from the fact that it is highly concentrated and uses better quailty ingredients. About $6 to $10 is a good price to pay and it should last you about 3 months if you use the correct amount. (Pea sized for short hair and nickel sized for long hair) Good luck!

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

My hairdresser told me never to use Pantene, but she never gave me a reason. Probably because I never asked.

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

I wouldnt think so Nioxin is much better its used for thinning and to make hair stronger you can get it at the salon

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

Thanx Legacy -- I would have never known or guessed !!!!!

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

pantene uses animal fats to "nourish" hair but it will only coat hair with wax, making it limp and a lot more prone to breakage. you may see results at first, but don't be fooled in the long run your hair will be more damaged then when you started.

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

Yes...I love Pantene! It won't make your hair grow fast, but when it grows, it wll make very healthy. I have tried it one time with knotty, very oily, gross hair. Now it is beautiful! Please try it!

: D Thanks

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

For me I thought that Pantene Shampoo made my hair dry, brittle and it it not worth the money that it costs

Care for Dyed Hair?

Okay, i have never dyed my hair and I want to dye it purple. or at least some of it. See a picture of it here at the site and the picture on the most bottom left with that asian girl (no offense). I want it to be exactly like that. What brands are good that wont damage my hair (currently my hair is completely healthy) and the proper ways to take care for it to avoid dryness and to keep it moisturized and absolutely healthy. *im very concerned that my hair is not damaged in any way*

Care for Dyed Hair?

Thats a great look.Just keep it moisterized..every 2 days...olive oil for hair is good..or pinklotion for hair is good...just make sure you keep up with it cause by u not takin care of it can give you split endes and patches..i kno from experience....lmao

Avoid as much heat as possible, and keep it moisturized. Pink Hair Lotion or Profective works really well. I'm also a big fan of Olive Oil. Report It

Care for Dyed Hair?

no blowdryers or irons or hot rollers..let it air dry..

use MOP Glisten shampoo %26amp; conditioner.

Care for Dyed Hair?

ill be fine shampoo it with main'n'tail it work's trust me i died my hair lots but it looks like i never did

Care for Dyed Hair?

I know that dying hair has a reputation for damaging hair, but I recently read an article (wish I could get it for you, but I dont remember which magazine it was in) that told me exactly the opposite. Dying hair used to be damaging because it wasnt very advanced. But technology now has improved it to the extent that it is moisturizing, and not really bad for your hair at all. I wouldnt worry, especially if this is your first time.

Should I dye my hair pink?

I was thinking, I have such a boring look, long sraight healthy thick blond hair, big sparkly dark green eyes, really tan skin and a gorgeous body, BORING!! Should I dye my hair pink?

Should I dye my hair pink?

Way to sound full of yourself, but sure why not. If you think your look is boring then do it. I mean you can always change your hair back if you don't like it. Or just dye a part of your hair.

Should I dye my hair pink?

why not! i did it :)

Should I dye my hair pink?

pink isnt very pretty once it starts to fade; so keep tjhat in mind

Should I dye my hair pink?

If u are ready for a LOT of maintenance then yes. Becuz if u want it bright pink, you'll have to bleach ur hair and then dye it pink. Plus pink isn't a dye...its a pigment so you'll have to keep that up more so than the blonde! So just think about it first

Should I dye my hair pink?

YEA DAT WOULD BE HOT

BUT DO HALF PINK

Should I dye my hair pink?

yes u should! pink is an awesome color

Should I dye my hair pink?

No, you'll ruin your look.

Should I dye my hair pink?

Dye it black with pink streaks.

Although i really cant tell unless i saw a pic of you.

Should I dye my hair pink?

NO! you may like it then... but you will regret it later.

Should I dye my hair pink?

Since you have blonde hair, there's no need for bleaching.

I bleached my black hair to an orangish and got bright pink results.

Manic Panic's Hot Hot Pink is a wonderful pink and is very bright (and glows under blacklight).

Then they have cotton candy pink and flamingo pink which are more pastel-like.

Hope this helped.

Should I dye my hair pink?

no!

Should I dye my hair pink?

conceited much?

To be honest dying it all pink is too much. There's a lot of nice hairstyles out there where it's like..blonde streaks..or chunks of pink in the lower portion of your hair.

Has anyone ever had their hair stripped?

I dyed my hair blk last summer and I am letting it grow out, my natural hair colr is lgt-med brown. I have like maybe 2 1/2 inches of black left on the tips and I am very impatiently waiting to get my hair highlighted, my hair stylist ( whom I trust) said that he could strip it and apply a color close to my natural color and my hair was strong enough for it, then I can later get my highlights. I had a bad experience w/bleach w/someone that really didn't know what they were doing but a bad experience is a bad experience. My hair is really healthy and I DO NOT want it damaged, has anyone succuessfully gotten their hair stripped w/o damage? I will mention that I am black and though I have a finer grade of hair its still black hair and I do have a relaxer. Should I do this or just be patient for 6 more months?

Has anyone ever had their hair stripped?

I have never had my hair stripped and I never will. Stripping the hair requires chemicals and will dry your hair. your stylist just wants to make a little extra money.

Has anyone ever had their hair stripped?

I think its almost impossible to strip your hair without severely damaging it. I would just wait it out, you don't want to risk damaging your hair that much.

Has anyone ever had their hair stripped?

DONT DO IT, it will ruin your hair.

Has anyone ever had their hair stripped?

No matter how you get your hair stripped, it's going to damage it a little bit. But with the products your hairstylist will use, they're MUCH better than a product you could get at the store. If you really can't wait, you can either cut off the last 2 inches or so and get it high lighted, or you can have him color correct it. If you do chose to have him color correct it, I would suggest using a deep conditioner once a week for about 3 weeks and then you can go get your hair highlighted.

Has anyone ever had their hair stripped?

u cant strip ur hair without damaging it... cuz all they use is bleach and peroxide because i got my hair stripped and it made it look fried.... so now i am using treatments and trimming my hair so make it healthier again

Has anyone ever had their hair stripped?

Money hungry? Honey you are the one who asked him about this- he did not suggest it. You mentioned several times how you do not want to damage your hair. You should just be patient. You know how long it took to grow, don't take a chance. Wearing it up with the ends hidden will buy you some time. Best of luck.

How can i stop my hair from thinning?

You can see most of my scalp when i bow my head. How can i reverse the effects and make my hair healthier (it looks and feels dry sometimes too) and fuller again?

How can i stop my hair from thinning?

1) relax...people who are stressed out lose their hair faster...worrying is possibly the worst thing you can do if your hair is falling out

2) use volumizing shampoo and conditioner

3) moisturize your scalp often...like once a week with a hair mask or something on the lines of that

4) eat really healthy.... a lot of fruits and vegetables....it starts from the inside to out

5) remember...NO WORRYING

How can i stop my hair from thinning?

Yes you can manage thinning. Your doctor will send you to a specialist who will be able to help. This is not something to tackle on your own.

There are MANY solutions out there. Check with your MD!

Biotin is found in foods such as soy and oatmeal. Take 1 pill of 1000 mcg a day and in about 2-3 weeks you will notice a huge difference!

Is Shaving off the first born hair in the head is neccessary? Will that create any advantage?

I have a 2 year old baby, elders are insisting on shaving her first born hair. We want to check itup with experts, whether shaving off the hair in head will help in further good and healthy growth of hair or not.

Is Shaving off the first born hair in the head is neccessary? Will that create any advantage?

i did hear of this, though i never did it to my son. but this little boy that i use to watch his mother did that to him and i asked her why and she said it makes the hair grow back thicker. she said she even did it to her daughter too. personally i could not tell the difference when his grew back.

Is Shaving off the first born hair in the head is neccessary? Will that create any advantage?

Well, cutting hair makes it grow back faster. Besides, babies look cute without hair.

Is Shaving off the first born hair in the head is neccessary? Will that create any advantage?

when my brother was a 1 year old baby,

his hair was growing alot and it looked weird.

it would always go up so my mom

shaved it off.

and his hair is fine now.. i would say just be careful

if you are shaving it yourself cause you know babies

are sensitive..

Is Shaving off the first born hair in the head is neccessary? Will that create any advantage?

this shaving does nothing. it my grow back a bit corser just for a bit because shaving is usually done in a different angle as the hair might grow. but the shaving of a first borns hair is a pointless tradition that just involves using sharp utensils on a babies soft head. i wouldn't do it. the hair will grow as it grows and shaving will do nothing to change that but make the baby look funny for a bit

Is Shaving off the first born hair in the head is neccessary? Will that create any advantage?

There are no advantages to shaving the babies hair off, it does not grow faster or thicker, people might think it does because when you shave all the hair off you are making all the ends the same length and blunt.

Is Shaving off the first born hair in the head is neccessary? Will that create any advantage?

My hispanic in-laws insisted on the same thing... I'm white and had never before even HEARD of such a thing...!

Is Shaving off the first born hair in the head is neccessary? Will that create any advantage?

ok the child is no longer a baby but a toddler, and is also a girl. Shave hair????? Don't think so. I did make sure my girls had good hair cuts at one year as for tradition and trimming it does seem to help it to grow in a little faster and thicker. It looks healthier after a cut too instead on the thin wispy uneven pieces. Alot of it is a matter of preference and what you feel comfortable with. My boys had hair cuts at 1yr and a few times after that now I buzz them to about 1/2 inch. as for my girls my 8yr olds hair is thick healthy and to her waist. my 6yrolds is half way down her back strong and curly go with your heart on this and of course discuss it with your husband. find what is good for you and your family don't just try to please others. good luck

Is Shaving off the first born hair in the head is neccessary? Will that create any advantage?

It's customary in India and has been in practise for centuries. This has no known problems reported.

It helps cleaning the scalp and the fresh healthy hair grows after this.

How to have healthy bangs?

My hair is healthy except for the front part... I dunno how to fix it... it does not look healthy...how do i make my bangs healthier? and also increase the volume of my hair?

How to have healthy bangs?

To make yur bangs healthier, You need massage that part of your scalp with your finger tips. over time you will see a change in growth. Your problem is due to bad blood flow to the top of your head. Also to increase the volume of you hair, after washing it spray a good amount of setting lotion on it before sitting under a dryer. then when you iron it out you will see a big change

How to have healthy bangs?

This is prolly due to excessive sun exposure.... The best thing that you can do for your hair is condition, condition, condition. If you go to a beauty supply store, you can get cholesterol, it is like a really thick conditioner. It is only about $2.00 for a pack and it works wonders on damaged hair.

Good Luck!

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

I want to improve my hair. I had my hair staightened down but I want it to look shiny and healthy and all natural. What could be your suggestions on how to manage this?

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

Beer shampoo!

That's the yeast inside it which is good for hair, nails...You can eat yeast pills or yeast flakes to put on salad..Or drink beer (it's less healthy though)

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

use a purified sheep placenta product and take biotin and vitamin E pills.

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

sunsilk.its the best samphoo for you i have anti poof but thats because my hair can get pretty big but its soft and silky and it doesnt frizz

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

use pantene and drink lots of water. did u know that like 90% of what ur hair is is water?

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

Buy the shampoo and conditioners that claim they make your hair shine. But the real secret is nutrition and a lot of fruit.

Apples work great if you can eat one every day. It makes your skin beautiful too. So many people treat problems from the outside when it's the inside that works and what shows. (True in much more than hair!!)

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

john freida color glaze... it makes your hair shiny and soft, and adds some color to your hair. you can get it at wal-mart for like $8...

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

apply oil and take bath(pure coconut oil from ur head till ur toe)

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

You can also get shinier hair by rinsing with vinegar and cold water. It really works!

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

either deep condition once a week, put on conditioner, plastic hair cap over, then wrap in hot towel out of dryer for 20 mins, rinse, or home remedy, same process using mayonaise, you have to wash your hair after mayo tho.

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

You should first understand that genetics play a huge role in the appearance of your hair. So you might not be able to achieve that perfect look you desire, but of course, you can always try to get one step closer! Heat causes damage, so always use heating products at the lowest setting or at least not every day. It's also best to let your hair dry normally. Simply place a towel over yoru shoulders and let your hair run down your back. Conditioners give hair a smooth, sleek look and there are certain shampoo lines created to make hair look sleek and shiny (Herbal Essences, Pantene, etc) but they don't work just on their own. You'll need a deep conditioner once a week and maybe some type of hair glaze or anti freeze serum. They're oily and give your hair a sheen. If you're queasy about spending too much, you can always use olive oil in your hair, making sure you focus mainly on the tips of your hair because they're the driest. As other users mentioned, drinking water is also necessary...and it's good for your skin too!

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

If you want a long term indirect solution then you should just fous on eating a balanced diet with lots of nuts and what germ as they conatain biotin which is known for making your hair shiny and ofcourse lots of water.Take supplements of evening primrose or flaxseed oil as theyre rich in omega 3 and certain fatty acids which will make your hair shine. Also make sure you combine this with regular tris to the hair dressers to get rid of dead hair and split ends and condition your hair often to keep it soft.

You can make an at home hair treatment from avacado, take a ripe avacado, remove the stone and pit then mash it up with 1 egg, leave it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse really well.

A more 'quick fix' at home solution is to add a 1/4 cup of mouthwash to a cup of water. Rinse this through your hair and then rinse it out.

You can aslo try bathing your hair in botanical oils, covering with a shower cap and a warm towel for half an hour, then rinsing through.

And the most simple way to make your hair shine is to blast it with realy cold water as your final rinsenevery time you wash it, if you can stand the sudden blast of coldness, it works really really well.

If you are looking for products that you dont have to make you can use haircare from 'lush' go to their website or one of their stores. They use all fresh organic natural products and mainly recycled packaging and they even have a vegan range.

Their rehab or Cynthia Silvia stout liquid shampoos are good, the 'I love juicy one' is a good way to get shiny but none greay hair. Not tried them myself yet but my friends say their solid shampoo and shampoo bars are good too.

Conditioner wise I would reccomend 'American cream', its like a double strength conditioner.

Their snake oil scalp massage bar is fantastic (its not actually made from any part of snakes so dont worry)

Their hair moisturisers are also amazing, especially the Hsuan Wen Hua one which I use whenever my hair is in need of a pick me up (its named after the chinese goddess of hair)

You could also try dying your hair with their henna bars which will make dark hair look shinier.

If you have blonde hair they have a purple shampoo which I think is called Daddy-O that is really good for blonde hair and if my memory serves there's a special hair moisturiser for blonde hair. If you're a bit lost then ask one of their assistants what you should get cause theyll be able to look at your hair colour type and find whats best for you. Lush is quite procey but well worth it and they have great offers ovr the christmas period.

You could also go to the salon and get a 'vegetable colour' on your hair (your hairdresser should know what that means) basically dying your hair its natual colour while seeming pointless actually makes your hair more shiny. Also darker hair looks shinier so if you feel like a change go darker to get shiny locks.

What is the best way to make your hair look shinier and healthier?

You need products for that situation.

Try www.redkenonline.com or www.renefurtereronline.com

Also ask you hairstylist for suggestions.

How can you make your hair grow faster, straighter, longer, and thicker?

like how do you make your hair become healthy and stay healthy?

How can you make your hair grow faster, straighter, longer, and thicker?

There are many shampoos that contain stimulating herbs, like basil, mint, rosemary, and stinging nettle (don't worry, it's just the name).

Most people wash their hair far too often, which causes damage and breakage, causing the hair to appear as though it isn't growing as fast.

Try to skip a day (or more) between washings. Always condition. There are also various glazes and creams that can be applied after washing %26amp; conditioning that offer sunscreen, and keep it smooth and protected.

If you lightly dab your hands with a very sparing amount of coconut fat, and lightly touch your hair all over, especially at the ends, this will also help keep hair smooth and retain moisture.

Keeping excessive products away from your scalp will lessen your need to wash it as frequently.

Try not to wear hair elastics or anything else that may constrict the hair and damage it.

Eat healthy foods, drink plenty of water, and get adequate rest and exercise. It makes a huge difference!

Omega 3 rich foods like avacados, fish, nuts, etc are excellent for healthy hair.

Try to use a comb or brush with wider spaces between the bristles or teeth to minimize damage. Natural materials will help distrubute your hair's natural oils more evenly.

A good scalp massage stimulates blood flow, and is super relaxing... reducing stress is ALWAYS good for anything your body needs.

Avoid heated implements for hair care, such as hair dryers, flat irons, etc.

Get small trims when you need them. Don't wait for the damage to become excessive, because then you'll need to lop off more of it than you wanted to.

Good luck!

How can you make your hair grow faster, straighter, longer, and thicker?

eat amla.......

How can you make your hair grow faster, straighter, longer, and thicker?

The growing process in hair can take some time so you will have to wait, but if you want your hair to become thicker wash just once a week, and if you want it to make it healthier there is Pantene, which is very healthy for the hair, or an expensive option of Bumble and Bumble, yet both work extremely well!

Good Luck!

My hair is naturally brown but i have colored it every shade of red/Burgundy for years..............

My stylist stripped the copper red out about 8 months ago and now it is a wine/burgandy color. I have a very dramatic asemetrical bob, back is very short and it angles down long. I want to go back to a more vibrant red. My hair is healthy and i want to use as little peroxide/bleach i can, Do i need to strip it like she did? she also filled and sealed it-what is that?and do i need to do it?

I also plan on putting temporary streaks in it when i do this. I think very tiny black ones would look good as blonde is so damaging. someone help! product recomedation is WELCOME too! Thanks

My hair is naturally brown but i have colored it every shade of red/Burgundy for years..............?

I say go for the tiny black ones due to the fact that it would not be so damaging to your hair.

Bleaching is going to completely damage you hair, maybe not right now, but in the future. I am speaking from experience.

I myself, is going through a hair crisis, too. I am planning to just grow my hair out to its natural hair color. I've been bleaching my hair for years. As of right now, I regret it.

Instead of dying your hair, try semi-coating or demi-coating instead.

It is a lot healthier for your hair, and it adds shine to it.

Good luck!

My hair is naturally brown but i have colored it every shade of red/Burgundy for years..............?

let a professional handle this u don't want to over process ur hair

ever seen the tv advertisement when they say DON"T TRY THIS AT HOME?

luv ya and that's the truth

My hair is naturally brown but i have colored it every shade of red/Burgundy for years..............?

I would keep on dying it like i do for my red streks if they go faded

My hair is naturally brown but i have colored it every shade of red/Burgundy for years..............?

My best advice is to go back to your stylist and let her do your coloring and streaking. That way you will get the best results with minimal damage to your hair. She will be able to mix several colors together to get the exact shade of red that you want, something you won't be able to do with home color from a box.

Sealing is a protective covering over your color so it lasts longer and doesn't fade out so quickly.

But if you don't want to spend the $$$ at the salon, I would recommend Revlon. I use it, and the colors are great! I have natural Auburn hair w/ some gray and I love the way Revlon covers gray and I love the colors they offer. Good luck!

My hair is naturally brown but i have colored it every shade of red/Burgundy for years..............?

You do not need to fill it; your hair should hold red just fine. What you need to know is that of all the colors you could dye your hair, red shades will fade the fastest. You definitely need to use a shampoo for color treated hair to prevent fading. To go a step further, use a shampoo and conditioner especially for red hair. Redken makes a very good one.

Regarding the streaks, if you want black, get black; though blonde streaks are easy to condition -- just use a protein pack (aka reconstructor) once a week and your hair will be fine. You should actually use a weekly reconstructor anyway to feed your hair; it will look very shiny and vibrant. What brand you ask -- there are so many good ones that you don't need to tremble over having a particular one. On the reconstructor label of ingredients, look for either 'hydrolysed protein' or 'keratin'.

How often can I use a color gloss on my hair such as John Freida or the sunsilk brand?

The reason I am asking is it does a nice job of blending away some of the white hairs around the hairline that are increasing with age...however on the Oprah show a stylist said you can only use it once a month...but these products I believe wash out in less than one week. So anyone out there whom has used them or stylists...let me know what you think...I am really trying to grow out my hair and keep it healthy so I am not processing my hair (dyes, chemicals and perms). Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have any homemade hair conditioner recipes?

I want to make a homemade treatment that I could use like once a week to make my hair stronger and healthier. Does anyone have a recipe that they know that they have tried and it actually works? Thanks.

Does anyone have any homemade hair conditioner recipes?

For every 3 inches of hair get half a avacado, mash with to a paste, add the same amount of conditioner then you would normally, apply 2 tbl. spoons per 3 inches of Olive Oil; Extra virgin only, mix together tell a pudding like consistency.

Apply to damp hair then, wrap with sarane wrap, get a hot towel and wrap it around your head. Leave on a minimum of 30minutes

I love to do this, may hair is still soft after 3 days.

transmission fluid.once a month to two.

Does anyone have any homemade hair conditioner recipes?

I use Olive Oil, and it's great!

Before I wash my hair, I cover my hair in olive oil (the cooking kind, of course...straight from the bottle), wait about 10- however long, minutes, then I wash my hair (shampoo %26amp; conditioner). When my hair dries, it's not oily, but naturally shinier and softer, too, olive oil and natural products do wonders.

Stripping the hair, important.?

okay, my hair is naturally medium/dark brown and i dyed it an amber color, after that i decided to try and get it back brown and orangish streaks kept coming out each time i tried to dye it back brown. i decided to strip my hair even though i know its really bad for your hair, but luckily my hair is healthy enough. i called clairol and they told me that i should use a light reddish color to do a tint back on my hair, then add a light brown color so my hair won't be too dark. well, she told me to just put the hair color(no developer) on my hair for the red and blot it and i did, and then put the brown color on so i did that as well. my hair is reddish brown and i'm wondering, when my hair starts to grow out and the color starts to fade, will the orange from stripping the hair come thru? Stripping the hair, important.?

Most likely it's going to come through. I stripped my hair because I dyed it black, and I just wanted my natural brown color. But after you strip your hair, whatever color you dye it will become lighter and fade. It'll take a couple of dye jobs before your hair can get matched. Your best bet is to go to a professional. Stripping hair is a hard thing to do, and if it's not done right your hair will be dried for a long time.

Stripping the hair, important.?

I think your best bet is to go to a professional hair colorist at a salon. Although they can be fairly pricy, they have better products and can get you closer to the color you want. Just be very clear in explaining your desired color and maybe even bring a picture of what you want.

Washing your hair everyday damages your hair.. read on more tips below!

Having Hair Problems??!?!?

Check this ouT!

Take good care of your hair! It will add to your charm - who can resist a person with lovely, silky hair? So do try out the above tips! Hope these littles tips have been useful! :)

Tips To Stop Hair Loss %26amp; Keep Healthy Hair Here are some hair care tips that you can use to help stop hair loss and keep your existing hair healthy and looking great. Please don't take these tips lightly. They are very important . The only thing they require is your time and commitment.

- Massage your scalp with your fingertips (not your nails) daily to stimulate and promote circulation to your scalp and reduce excess fallout. Invert your head while you shampoo %26amp; massage your scalp. This helps promote blood circulation to the head.

- Essential oils %26amp; tea . To stimulate scalp circulation, massage the scalp with rosemary essential oil or rinse hair with tea made from sage.

- Comb or brush your hair and scalp gently in the morning and at night. This helps break up hardened oils (sebum) that are clogging your hair follicles. Doing this alone has produced new hair growth. Do not over do combing or brushing.

- keep a distance from dryer's heat. When using blow dryers, always keep the heat a good distance from your scalp and hair. Avoid heating the scalp and hair excessively. Excessive heat will increase hair loss, and excess fallout.

- Avoid getting hair creams, lotions, styling gels and sprays directly on the scalp as they will clog your hair follicles. Use a light hold spray if you must.

- After swimming in a pool, shampoo your hair as soon as possible to remove any chlorine residue. Chlorine is extremely damaging to the hair and scalp.

- Avoid over-exposing your hair and scalp to the wind and sun. Good hair care over a long period really makes a difference!

- Avoid tight hats and caps as they contribute to poor circulation, depriving the hair of proper nutrition and stunting new hair growth. The sweat, dirt and grime around the rim inhibit follicle health and contribute to build-up.

- Always consult your health care provider for extreme causes of excess fallout and thinning. A medical condition or medication could be causing hair loss side-effects.

- Strive for balance and harmony in both your personal and professional lifestyle. High stress factors can cause your body to react by fluctuating hormone levels. This in turn causes excessive oil secretion (sebum) which results in hair loss.

- Pregnancy, nursing, menopause, and even birth control medication can cause constant changing factors on your nutritional needs and hormonal levels which contribute to hair loss and excess fallout.

- Avoid "crash and fad" diets. Proper nutritious meals along with vitamin and mineral supplements are a key factor for healthy hair and skin.

- Good hair care starts with awareness. These hair care tips, if followed consistently, will reduce excess fallout, hair loss, and promote new hair growth.

- Reduce hair loss effects by increasing your intake of vitamin C found in fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly citrus fruit and juices, parsley, broccoli, green peppers and black currants. Take a vitamin B complex everyday or brewers yeast. Increase your intake of protein found in meat, fish, liver, wheat germ, dried cooked beans and peas, tofu, cheese, milk and eggs.

- Take dietary supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc %26amp; saw palmetto. Supplements are useful when you can't get enough from natural food sources.

- The Chinese believe that hair is nourished by the blood, and therefore influenced by the kidney %26amp; liver. Treatment is aimed at these organs using fleece flower root, wolfberry fruit or mulberry fruit.

- Eliminate stress or else it can be disastrous to your precious hair!

- Get enough sleep. Sleeping well is essential for the health of your hair as well as for the rest of your body.

There are ways you can help stop the grease from appearing but you have to work at it.

Do not wash everyday. The cleaner your hair is the more it can seep into your glands and harder it is to get rid of. When you do wash make sure you are washing with a cleaning shampoo and scrubbing the build up off. Take in mind that you also have to have a ph-balanced mild shampoo and lite scrubbing is recommended. Try to avoid conditioner at the roots, apply in the middle or on the ends.

Try to avoid oil in your daily food intake. And do eat more vegetables. You could visit your doctor but only after you check and consider your diet, drugs, alcohol, and your fatty food intake. Let's face it we see what McDonalds can do to your heart in a month, can you image your hair. You would be dripping everywhere.

Maybe it's time to change your shampoo. Ask your stylist what she or he would recommend. Avoid using shine products at all costs. Keep away from two-in-one shampoos and conditioners and any frizz serums.

To fix at the moment, rub a little Talcum Powder on your dried hair at the roots. Just make sure you wash it out. I wish they would event that magic product, but this will help until they do.

Here are 10 tips for to keep your hair strong, smooth, shiny and beautiful!

1. Keep your diet balanced, and eat protein and calcium rich foods. Stay away from junk foods! This is essential for healthy hair.

2. Foods and supplements to nourish your hair:

* Beans

* Yogurt

* Almonds

* Vitamin B

* Fish

* And of course, the magic potion for beauty - WATER

3. Before washing your hair, comb it well to make sure all knots has been loosened from your hair.

4. Before applying shampoo, use warm water (35 to 38 degrees Celsius) to run through your hair to rinse and wet it thoroughly.

5. When applying shampoo or conditioner, don't use your fingernails to scrape through your hair. Instead, use your palm and fingertips to massage your scalp and hair gently, in circular motions. This will help the circulation and also help to keep your hair shiny and smooth.

6. After rinsing away all the shampoo, run water over your hair for at least another half a minute (3 minutes is best) to ensure there are no remains of shampoo remaining in your hair, since this will cause a great deal of damage to your scalp.

7. When applying hair treatment products, do so just after you have washed your hair, so that your hair can absorb all the good stuff while it is half wet. This will be the best time for it to absorb nourishment.

8. NEVER go to bed with your hair wet! Hair that is half wet is most easily broken, and if you sleep during this time, your hair will be rubbing against each other, damaging your hair in the most terrible way.

9. Too much pressure may lead to hair loss! Relax... try some good relaxation methods such as soaking in a nice scented bath, listening to music, and eating healthy comfort foods such as strawberries and grapes.

10. Perming and coloring seriously damages your hair. Avoid it as much as possible. Also, when using hair setting products such as gel or putty, use as little as possible, because they hurt your scalp and hair. Wash them out thoroughly afterwards with a shampoo specially created for removing styling products.

does iol really work?

do i put it on my scallp?

will it burn??

I heard that there are ways to make your hair grow faster?

dude just wet your hair really good then put it in a tight bun!

I heard that there are ways to make your hair grow faster?

the only natural 'remedy' to make your hair grow faster is eat a diet with a high content of beta karatine and vitamin E. those primarily work to keep your hair skin and nails healthy. other than that, its mostly your genetics that define how fast (or slow) your hair will grow. or you could always get pergnant, that always makes your hair and nails grow insanely fast.

I heard that there are ways to make your hair grow faster?

Oh I want long hair too I haven't colored it in 2 1\2 years that was very hard but I get so bored having it the same that I keep cutting it but no more I have taken a vow to not do anything to my hair until dec. I dont think there's much you can do to make your hair grow it's all in the hormones and peoples hair grows at different speeds so just be patient or go crazy and chop it all off go extremely short like Felicity and then when it gets to your sholders you'll be like wow my hair is long now. good luck

I heard that there are ways to make your hair grow faster?

well my hair is all the way down to my legs and the way i make it grow faster is i i just cut the dead ends off and it grows for me hope it works for you

I heard that there are ways to make your hair grow faster?

lemme give u tip, if u wanna grow ur hair longer, dont grow it longer than just around ur breasts, then it would be too long, plus its sexier at that length.

- as so said by expert hair stylists.

I heard that there are ways to make your hair grow faster?

I have naturally curly hair, and I used to straighten it all the time. I've been trying to grow it out for a while, and finally I stopped straightening it, and it's growing really fast. The best way is to not style your hair with heat.

I heard that there are ways to make your hair grow faster?

No, nothing makes make grow faster. Hair grows half an inch a month.

Do Vitamin B tablets help make your hair thicker?

I have long hair and it has been thining recently. I straighten my hair once a week and look after it well so I don't understand why it is thining. I've consulted my GP and all the tests came back fine. He said there is nothing wrong. This is really worrying me and I don't know what to do. My friend said that her sister went into depression and lost lots of her hair. She started taking Vitamin B tablets and now has alot of thick, healthy hair. When I asked my doctor about Vitamin B tablets, he said that he doesn't know if they work or not.

Does anyone else have any experience with Vitamin B tablets and do they actually work? Also, if they do work ... then will they just make the hair on your head thicker, or would it be on your whole body??

Do Vitamin B tablets help make your hair thicker?

it might do but i dont think so, but to get good hair eat lots of fruits and vegetables or try different shampoos

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=w70EB9vtXE...

Do Vitamin B tablets help make your hair thicker?

not sure on the vitamin but eat alot of peanut butter. its great for good healthy hair!!! its full of protien!!

Do Vitamin B tablets help make your hair thicker?

Not sure whether vitamin B will make your hair thicker. you can buy tablets for improving hair condition, try in your health food shop

Do Vitamin B tablets help make your hair thicker?

The simple ans to your question is NO. Vitamin B does not help the hairs in any way. Regular exercises, a balanced diet rich in proteins, good shampooing, cleaning your hairs and use of new so called high tech ultrasonic massaging combs can help you to some extent. The only pills which may have a little bit of effect are ANTI OXIDANTS pills....which is also a bit of doubtful to me being a Doc.

Have fun

Hair question... important?

okay, my hair is naturally medium/dark brown and i dyed it an amber color, after that i decided to try and get it back brown and orangish streaks kept coming out each time i tried to dye it back brown. i decided to strip my hair even though i know its really bad for your hair, but luckily my hair is healthy enough. i called clairol and they told me that i should use a light reddish color to do a tint back on my hair, then add a light brown color so my hair won't be too dark. well, she told me to just put the hair color(no developer) on my hair for the red and blot it and i did, and then put the brown color on so i did that as well. my hair is reddish brown and i'm wondering, when my hair starts to grow out and the color starts to fade, will the orange from stripping the hair come thru? (when stripping the hair, it turns brown hair orange sometimes)?and i still want to get it brown, but my hair is shoulder length and im wondering if i should waitforittogrowoutorshould useatempdyeontop

Hair question... important?

It is hard to say weather it will show. being you did not use a developer it might. It is more like a toner she had you do with out buying a toner. But it will not be permanent colour with out the developer so it will wash out with each wash.

When you do a colour you need to know what the base colour is of the colour you are putting into your hair. I don't know if you have gray hair or not. But gray has no pigment so it can pick up the base color sometimes of the colour you used. More then likely you have a red base to your hair. So you would use a red base if you want a lot of red. If you don't want red you would use a green base. It is like the primary and secondary colours on a colour wheel. When you mix red and green you get brown. I am thinking your base colour in the amber was gold or yellow which will give you an orange. Then when you striped most likely not all the colour came out and you are left with the base orange.

I would say to wait and see it may not show orange when it fades. But if it does you need to buy a professional hair color from like sally's or beauty mart. Anyone can buy professional colors now. Make sure it has a green base to it.

Then follow the way you would normally colour your hair. But leave the new growth and the ends until the last 10 min or so. You ends will pick up colour faster and so does the new growth or virgin hair. You will see what the base colour is on the box of the colour. I hope this helps

Hair question... important?

I'm telling you, stop trying to correct it, your hair will get ruined. My hair is also a medium/dark brown, and at 18 years old i started getting partial honey highlights just the crown area and i just recently stopped, I'm 27 years old now but last year was the last straw for me and i said "NO MORE"even thought the highlights look beautiful and the lady from the salon i use to go to always made them look great but i really do regret it soooo much now, from all the chemicals of highlighting for so many years, than all the chemicals to try to correct my hair and get it back to my natural color made it even worse!...Now my hair is extremely dry i lose more hair i noticed...so save yourself from my experience and just leave it alone. I wish i had my natural healthy medium/dark brown hair again! Now i just will let it grow all out and hope eventually i get my natural hair back.
